Sheep stew (for 4 ppl)

Ingredients:

1.5 kg bone-in mutton
150 g smoked bacon
2 onions
1 green bell pepper
1 tomato
2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp lard
2 tbsp sweet paprika
Salt and pepper to taste

Finely chop the onions and sauté them in the rendered fat from the bacon. Remove the bacon cubes beforehand. Add the diced green bell pepper and tomato, and continue sautéing. After removing from the heat, add the paprika and pour in a little water. Let it fry in its own fat, and repeat the process a few times. Cut the meat into larger cubes and add it to the paprika base. Season with salt, pepper, and add the crushed garlic. Gradually braise it under a lid, adding only a small amount of liquid each time.
