The Pusztai Animal Park is located in the heart of the Hungarian Puszta, just a stone's throw from the Nine-Hole Bridge.

The animal park evokes the atmosphere of a traditional peasant farm, showcasing old Hungarian domestic animals and farm buildings in their original setting. The park’s mission is not only to present these animals but to introduce visitors to our values in a comprehensive and hands-on way. The park is also a popular excursion destination, attracting more and more families with children and school groups every year. Children's favorites include the playground, which features traditional Hortobágy motifs and blends into the landscape, and the petting zoo, where they can pet goats, lambs, and donkeys. By walking along our interactive nature trail, children can learn about the animals on display, their uses, and in a fun, playful manner, see how they relate to traditional farming. The observation bridge over the buffalo pond allows visitors to get a close-up view of the domestic buffaloes wallowing in the pond—something you won’t experience anywhere else.
