Hortobágy Wildlife Park in Malomháza

At the Hortobágy Wildlife Park in Malomháza, visitors can discover the ancient wildlife of the plains.

The park is filled with animals that once roamed this land before humans appeared, such as wolves, vultures, and pelicans – who have their own fishpond – as well as species that can still be found in protected areas today, such as wildcats, ferrets, foxes, wild boars, cranes, and the white-tailed eagle.

For those seeking a true adventure, they can join the special safari program, where they can get up close to Przewalski's wild horses and the reconstructed aurochs.

Directions: The wildlife park bus departs every hour from the bus parking lot next to the Hortobágy Info - Tourinform Hortobágy building. The last bus departs 2 hours before the park closes.

Payment Options: To register and purchase tickets for the special safari program, tickets can only be bought at the wildlife park’s café.
Tickets for the wildlife park can be purchased at the HNP Visitor Center and the Tourinform office.

Groups must register in advance!
