Events

At the St. Demetrius Day Herding Festival, shepherds and their livestock – Hungarian Racka sheep, Nonius horses, and teams of buffalo and Hungarian Grey cattle – make their way across the puszta from the open grazing grounds towards their winter quarters, just as they have done for centuries. This living folk tradition offers a unique spectacle and experience for visitors of all ages.

This year, the event will once again be complemented by the Crane Festival and the Handicraft Fair.
